Swedish scientists improved solar cell efficiency by 25%

Solar cells use only visible electromagnetic spectre for energy production while other parts of the specter remain unutilized. Swedish Royal Technological Institute (KTH) developed a new coating that enables usage of the infrared specter for which is assumed it could increase solar cell efficiency by 20-25%.
